PRINCE2 Practitioner Training and Certification

The PRINCE2® Practitioner course provides an opportunity to apply the concepts of the PRINCE2 methodology to a scenario. The PRINCE2 Practitioner course prepares participants for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam.

PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is for anyone who manages projects as part of their role. The purpose of the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is to confirm whether a candidate could apply and tailor PRINCE2 in a range of different project environments and scenarios.

Following the completion of the course participants should be able to:

  • Understand how to apply the PRINCE2 principles in context
  • Understand how to apply effective people management in projects
  • Understand how to apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2 practices in context
  • Understand how to apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2 processes in context
  • Pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam

  • Project Board Members (e.g. Senior Responsible Owners)
  • Team Managers (e.g. Product Delivery Managers)
  • Project Assurance (e.g. Business Change Analysts)
  • Project Support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel)
  • Operational line managers/staff.

  • 2,5 hours
  • 70 questions
  • Objective Test Questions based on a case study scenario
  • 60% pass mark
  • Open book (PRINCE2 manual only)

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from PeopleCert.

Project Management experience and/or experience as a project team member. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read and studied before attending the course.
To take the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam you must provide proof of having passed one of the following:

  • PRINCE2 6th Edition Foundation (or higher)
  • Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
  • Project Professional Qualification (PPQ)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • IPMA Level A®, B®, C® or D®.

The material includes case study, exercises and solutions, the PRINCE2 Glossary, Practitioner test-exams and hints & tips for the Practitioner Exam.
