PMP Training - Exam Preparation

The PMP course – Exam Preparation is designed for individuals who have on-the-job project management experience. The training addresses all professionals, regardless of having the Project Manager title, past project management training and/or project manager certifications.

The PMP training aims to ensure that a candidate can apply the generally recognized practices of project management, acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI), to successfully manage projects.

Following the completion of the PMP training participants should be able to:

  • Understand and apply the processes and practices required to build effective, high-performing teams
  • Plan the project (budget, schedule, scope, quality, project activities, procurement, and closure)
  • Execute project to deliver business value
  • Ensure that the project’s success can be consistently repeated within your organization
  • Pass the PMP Exam

  • Project Managers
  • Mid-level Project Managers
  • Those who want or need training requirements to become PMP certified
  • Those who want to build-up their knowledge in agile and hybrid approaches

  • 230 minutes
  • 200 questions
  • Objective Test Question: a combination of multiple-choice, multiple responses, matching, hot area, and limited fill-in-the-blank
  • Closed book

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from PMI.

PMP course Prerequisites
Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course.

Exam Prerequisites
Before you apply for the exam, the participant should make sure to meet one of the following sets of qualifications:

  • A four-year degree
  • 36 months leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training

– OR –

  • A high school diploma
  • An associate’s degree or global equivalent
  • 60 months leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training

The following course material is included for this training:

  • Access to PMI Choice – PMI official digital platform

The PMI Choice platform includes:

    • Student Manual: electronic version of the course material
    • Project Manager Checklist: step-by-step procedures and reference material for concepts covered in class
    • Spotlight Videos: short videos (3-6 minutes) that enhance the classroom learning experience
    • Quizzes
    • Self-Knowledge check: questions to help the self-assessment
    • PMI Events: to view information about upcoming PMI events
    • Locker: a place to store any files or content created and used during class
  • PMP Exam Simulator

A digital exam simulator with more than 500 questions that can be taken an unlimited number of times.

  • 1 year of PMI membership

The membership includes the free download of the PMBOK® Guide* and other PMI Standards and Guides (including the Agile Practice Guide).

*For classroom courses, a paper version of the PMBOK is included.
