Agile PM Practitioner Training and Certification

The Agile PM Practitioner Certification aims to measure whether the candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Agile Project Management guidance to apply and tailor it to a given scenario situation.

The scenario is designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate competence to begin working as an Agile Project Manager on a non-complex project.

Objectives

Following the completion of the course participants should be able to:

Learn how to appropriately configure the lifecycle of an Agile project to a given scenario
Learn how to apply a variety of agile practices to a project, for example, workshops, the MoSCoW technique to define project priorities, iterative development and modeling
Understand how to test, estimate and evaluate profit delivery in an Agile project
Learn facilitation and support mechanisms within an Agile project
Learn the agile approach to manage and prioritize requirements.
Produce and evaluate the content of Agile products produced during an Agile project in a given scenario
Understand the roles and responsibilities within an Agile project and correctly determine the appropriate personnel to fulfill these roles within a given scenario
Pass the Agile PM Practitioner exam.

Target

Certified Professionals Agile PM Foundation
Agile Team Members who wish to become Agile Project Managers.

Agile PM Practitioner Exam

2,5 hours
4 questions (20 points per question)
Objective Test Questions based on a case study scenario
50% pass mark
Open book (Agile PM manual only).

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from APMG International.

Prerequisites

It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have some work-experience on projects. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course. To take the Agile PM Practitioner examination you must provide proof of having passed the Agile PM Foundation exam.
