Agile PM Practitioner Training and Certification

The AgilePM Practitioner Certification aims to measure whether the candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of AgilePM to apply and tailor it in the scenario of a real project.

The scenario is designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate competence in applying the AgilePM approach to a real-world project.

Following the completion of the course participants should be able to:

  • Apply AgilePM in real-world projects, translating theory into practical actions to ensure agility while meeting governance requirements
  • Apply AgilePM processes and practices across all project phases, ensuring continuous value delivery while adapting to changing business needs
  • Gain the confidence to quickly apply the knowledge of AgilePM roles and responsibilities to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making, while fostering an empowered team culture aligned with business priorities.
  • Pass the AgilePM Practitioner exam.

  • AgilePM Foundation Certified Professionals
  • Leaders of or having influence over an Agile project team including: Project Managers and Product Owners
  • Line-of-business managers or leaders with responsibility for delivering business change
  • Solution architects and other roles involved with ensuring quality, integrity and compliance of the business and technical solutions created by the project
  • Project management officers and any other roles with responsibility for governance of projects individually or as part of a programme or portfolio.

  • 2 hours
  • 4 questions (20 points per question)
  • Objective Test Questions based on a case study scenario
  • 50% pass mark
  • Open book (Agile PM manual only).

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from APMG International.

It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have some work-experience on projects. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course. To take the Agile PM Practitioner examination you must provide proof of having passed the Agile PM Foundation exam.
